Hello readers!!!

Mozilla’s Global Sprint is a fun, two-day collaborative hackathon oraginized on May 10 & 11, 2018. A diverse network of educators, engineers, artists, scientists, and many others come together in person and online to build projects for a healthy Internet. For this year mozsprint introduced more that 100+ open projects under Open Innovation, Web Literacy, Digital Inclusion, Decentralization and Privacy.

As a part of it, Dhirajzilla campus club hosted the sprint in Salem on May 11, 2018 from 10.00AM to 1PM. We had 15 students as vibrant participants, in which 3 of them where from KIOT campus club.

The sprint was focussed on one of the project called Spread Open Healthy Web. The project comes under Web Literacy and main objective is to provide learning materials for newbies to start their contribution to open source and invites contributors to share resources to a single point. Where participant contributed by reviewing documentation, giving feedbacks, fixing bugs, reporting issues, many more from the listed in the issue tracker.

While in afternoon, we attended the sprint call to connect with wider other participants globally, where we had oppurtunity to shout out about our project metrics and also had chance to hear about many interesting projects that solves the problem of healthy internet.

We had great time throughout the sprint, special thanks to Bhuvana Meenakshi for swags and site space. Thanks to all the participant for making this sprint a grand sucess.
